Author Talk at Cheshire Library

      Cheshire author Kristen Demeo will speak about her writing and the four books she has published at the Cheshire Library on Thursday, October 24, at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to all.

      Demeo’s most recent book is Jefferson’s Cheshire Cheese, the story of the great cheddar cheese that Cheshire dairy farmers made to present to President Thomas Jefferson in 1801, blending milk from all the local farms. Prior publications include The Legend of Mt. Greylock, Susan, about Susan B. Anthony, and a children’s book, Sounds Like This.

      The Cheshire Library is located on the south side of the Cheshire Town Hall on Depot St. The library is open Mondays from 9 to noon, Tuesdays from 9 to noon and 3 to 8 p.m., and Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m.
